YW+A Students Visit Aims Community College

Young Women+ Achievement partnered with Arapahoe Ridge High School this past Tuesday for a fieldtrip to Aims Community College. More than 30 students attended from four different high schools: Arapahoe Ridge, Fairview, New Vista and Broomfield. Two Aims representatives led tours of the facilities - one tour in Spanish and one in English. The students were able to learn about the Welding, Agriculture and CNA program and facilities, as well as the Gen-Eds that the Fort Lupton location offers. The tour piqued many students' interest in pursuing higher education and left us very excited to continue working with these students during their spring semester.
